- Review Section 1:
Names and sequence of events prior to and following the
first major Battle.
- Explaining the sides, motives and results of the Battles
of the Frontiers, Tannenberg, and Aisne.
- Section 2:
Defining and explaining the terms Trench Warfare, Total
War, and Propaganda.
- Listing the new technologies that were introduced (or
improved) and used during WWI.
- Discussing women’s role on the home front during the
war.
- Discussing the sides, motives and results (including casualties)
of the Battles of Verdun, Somme and Ypres.
- Explaining how war extended beyond Europe referring to
the Gallipoli Campaign (Dardenelles) and how it resulted in the Armenian
Genocide.
